New Horsham Veterinary Surgery opens in historical Sussex Mill

On Friday 7th June, there was a fantastic buzz in the air as local actor, Christopher Timothy, best known for his role as James Herriot in All Creatures Great and Small, officially opened our new Horsham veterinary surgery. The location of our new West Sussex veterinary surgery, the Warnham Mill, has ensured that this historical site will, once again, play an integral part in the lives of people in the region.

Horsham veterinary practice and more

Our new Horsham veterinary practice offers a comprehensive range of amenities, with state of the art equipment in a beautiful location. Furthermore, our new Horsham vets surgery also boasts an on-site pharmacy and a fully stocked pet shop.

The Mill, which is believed to have been built in 1588 and restored some years later, ceased practice as a working mill in 1932. Since then, the building has only been used intermittently until now. The waterwheel, a firm feature of our Horsham vets surgery’s reception, is turned twice a month. Come and see this magnificent sight for yourself!

Horsham Vets with a Lasting Legacy

The launch was a great success and it was fantastic to have Christopher Timothy there on the day to do the honours. The three Tanbridge House School students, who helped so tirelessly with the background to the launch, were also able to be there with us for the opening, which was a real pleasure. We were thrilled to see how many local people turned up to celebrate with us, making it all the more special.

We have been wanting to open a new Horsham vets practice for a while and we are delighted to have taken up residence in such a renowned bulding within the local area. We mix old-fashioned customer  service with modern technology and this building fits perfectly into that ethos. Our aim is to adopt the reputation of this building and administer a first class service to the local community, caring for your pets just as much as you do at our new Horsham vets in the Sussex region.
